We are inviting anyone interested in participating to a planning meeting on Wednesday, August 6th at 11:00 am in the Yellow Room.
We would especially like to have all those who headed "departments" or worked at the Bazaar last year to come discuss what worked and to make suggestions for improvement.
Since this is a major fund-raiser for the Women of St. Luke's we encourage you to come help us with planning.
PIZZA and drinks will be furnished so please RSVP to Lauren Burgreen burgreen@mindspring.com if you plan to come. Salads or desserts would be appreciated.
November 10th - combined service at St. Luke's - 9:30 AM

Veterans will be recognized, along with a poppy wreath laid at the step of the chancel at St. Luke’s Church, Blue Ridge, on Nov. 10. A single 9:30 a.m. service will replace the normal 8:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services. Members of the Marine Corps League Detachment #1438 Blue Ridge will assist with military rites.
Remembrance Sunday acknowledge those who died or suffered while serving in wars, conflicts and peace operations. In Anglican Churches in English-speaking countries, it is held each year on the second Sunday in November (the Sunday nearest Nov 11), the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in the First World War.
St. Luke's is proud to present our Summer Concert Series.
From May through August, St. Luke's Church is home to visiting guest musicians who perform a variety of musical styles.

Receptions to follow concerts.
A $10 per person donation is requested to help pay for musicians.

This Sunday - March 30th will be the 5th Sunday combined service. One service at 9:30.
There will be a brunch following the service.
Blessing of the Palms - Those attending the early service on Palm Sunday, Apr. 13, are asked to gather at 8 a.m. outside in front of the church for the blessing of the palms.

Those attending the early service on Palm Sunday, Apr. 13, are asked to gather at 8 a.m. outside in front of the church for the blessing of the palms. A procession into the church will follow. The said service of Holy Communion that day (8:15 a.m..) will be unchanged.
(NOTE: the 10:15 a.m. choral service on Palm Sunday will begin at the regular time and will include the congregation participating in the reading of the Passion narrative.)
CHRISTMAS by CANDLELIGHT
The Christmas by Candlelight concerts this year will be held once again at St. Luke's on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. and a second concert on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 each and can be bought by calling 706-851-7548 or by clicking on the buttons below.
